The picture was taken back in 1968 or 1969. Most of the pictures from California in my gallery are taken between 1965 to early 70's.

I believe the PAs were retired in 1967, so the photo probably dates from 1966-67. Also, notice the "102" in the number boards? Espee stopped displaying train numbers on passenger trains (except the commutes) in 1967, also. This looks like the eastbound City of San Francisco, somewhere around Suisun.
