SP 1335 (nee 1951 & 1423 pre-1965) was retired by SP in 1986, despite being rebuild from a NW2 in 1972. The engine was then purchased by the Parr Terminal Railroad aka Richmond Pacific (I'll post photos of them later), who operated him until 1998. Two years later the unit was donated to the museum, becoming operational in 2001.
