One of the few benefits of the recession is all those SOO Geeps working in Western Canada now. In a year or two such colorful lash-ups will likely be history as all three Geeps will be re-painted into the bland modern "Canadian Pacific" paint scheme, without the beaver logo. Gotta wonder how the EMD unit managed to stay so clean compared to his GMD counterparts?

With so many SOO units running around I'm starting to note the individual differences. Compare to fellow Geep SOO 4412 I caught going out on CP 454 earlier. http://tinyurl.com/SOO-4412
He still has the SOO Line decal intact and MARS lights? in place, which have received an ugly patch on the SOO 4443. As well the engine # is located lower on the cab side.
