Skytop Sunset

Here in what is left of the setting sun is the Milwaukee Road Skytop Lounge Car. The car is on display in front of the Milwaukee Art Musuem. It is part of an exhibit featuring the work of Brooks Stevens. Right next to the Skytop is the Oscar Mayer "Weinermobile". The "wings" on the art museum are part of the "Brise Soleil" which can open and close to provide shade for the reception area inside the museum.

The Skytop car is on loan from the people at Milwaukee Road #261 and should be returning after Labor Day.

Keith Schmidt
Subtle lighting with a blend of what's old and what's new. Great shot.......
Great shot Keith, and Earl you are correct in your comments. I was fortunate enough to spend a day in this car on the LTV/Erie Mining Excursion in Northern Minesota a few years back.

What a car.... A+
