Rusty Old Goat

Here is an interesting rail car. This rusty old Goat was found sitting near the enginehouse of the Minnesota, Dakota and Western Railroad in International Falls, Minnesota. Through the rust though "Rocky" can still be seen with the original GN Markings.

The MDW is an interesting railroad in that they have an all ALCO roster with 5 S-2's.

This shot was taken while on vacation in late June 2003.

It isn't going to go too far judging that trucks are friction bearings. Neat shot.

Keith, Great find and shot! Rocky lives on. Thanks a heap!
