Rubber Nose

resund trains are operated by both DSB and SJ (Swedish class X31K).
These "rubber noses" link Malm and Copenhagen over the bridge every 20 minutes, but also go on further into Sweden and Denmark.

Although celebrated as "flexible" these things are far from that. Always overcrowded, a single attached car would help a lot, but of course that's not possible...
Coincidentally, was in Malmo and Copenhagen just a month before these were taken...thanks for the "Railway" memories...

I recognize those! We had them in the US for a demo-project back in the late 90's!

They nicked named them "Cheese Danish!"

We Yanks are crazy sometimes:)
