Originally an IC GP9, 1040 came to Carlton Trail in 1999 from Mid-South.

He working on Great Western in Colorado until 2001, seen here back in Saskatchewan after becoming a donor engine in 2007.

Scrapped on October 9, 2012 alongside CTRW 1020 & 3372.

Update: As of summer 2008 the cab windows are boarded up.
 
Got the rear number board from this engine, one got broken while trying to remove it, but the other one is intact. Told there isn't much else I can have, as I tried to get a bell or horn, but was told they may be used.
