Re-built "West Country" Class

Re-built "West Country" Class B.R/S.R. 4-6-2 "Boscastle", at "G.C.R", (Private Railway), Loughborough, U.K.
c.1990's.
Yes, this is a beautiful locomotive.....she was very popular when running on the "GCR". "Boscastle" is a good example of how a loco can be restored to such a high standard! I got to know her well....being at that time a volunteer 'engine-cleaner' on the "GCR" & spent happy 'polishing hours!'
I do not know where she is now.....anybody out there know? (Don't think sh's still at GCR?).
Will post a couple more photos of her soon.

CP990/DAVE.....
I knew you would like this one!
A few years ago when visiting the "Bluebell Railway" in Sussex, U.K., I rode the footplate of "Merchant Navy" class Bulleid Pacific "Port Line"(re-built).One of the best times I've had! Lovely locos....I even 'had a go' at firing.....still recovering from that experience! (I joke!).I expect you know that Bulleid Pacifics have an unique exhaust-note...several more 'chuffs' per each revolution of the driving-wheels compared with 'conventional' locos....fantastic sound!
