Railtown 1897 State Historic Park #28

Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works of Eddystone, PA in 1922 for the Sierra. Considered one of the most well proportioned locomotives in America today. New driver tires installed and driver boxes machined in the mid-1980's. Retubed in 1993. Drivers turned and driver boxes and side rods machined in 1997. Locomotive weighs 71 tons and operates with a steam pressure of 185 pounds.
