Quick and Easy Monitor Calibration

Follow the instructions within this image to quickly and easily calibrate you monitor. This is by no means an exact calibrations, but it will get your monitor as close as can be done without special software or hardware. When you first do this your images may look warm to you because of the change to 5000 degrees, but in very little time you should find the colours relatively close.

I have added this image to the site bacause of someone's comment that they find that images look too dark on their monitor. Please keep in mind that you should not use this Quick and Easy method if you have already used a more advanced monitor calibration method like Adobe Gamma or a Spyder. Any advanced software or hardware monitor calibrations system will be more accurate than this method.

Please keep in mind that monitors will be best viewed if they are protected from direct light hitting the viewing area, and are in areas of even, consistant lighting.
