Pennsy Steam

No. 643 was built by the PRR's Altoona Shops in 1901 and is the only operational PRR steamer today. She is maintained by the Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association in Williams Grove, Pa., and was under steam on July 15th, 2006, for the association's Locomotive Engineer School program, where participants have the opportunity to experience what it's like behind the throttle of a full-size steam locomotive.
Nice photo! I've actually run that engine, about 25 years ago... Glad to see she's back in service and looking good.
