Well Steve, it looks like a postcard to me, thanks for sharing. Do you have any other info? Mayb something was written on the back? Any clues where this came from?

Yes, I thought it was a beautiful postcard and a historic event worthy to be captured on the internet rather than just in my file cabinet. The writing on the back had nothing to do with railroading.
