Number 26 Departs Portland

On a very warm day in May 1992, Amtrak #26 departs Portland Union Station. This photo was taken from the window in VC Tower. The operator had all of the windows open and was kind enough to allow me to come up and take this shot. Even with a 24mm lens, it was impossible to not to have that darn pole in the way. Amtrak #27 is the train in the background.
