Nocturnal Freight
BNSF's M-LAUSWE makes its nocturnal passage through Stanford, MT on a warm August evening.
I like the balance in the lighting, the variety of activity--the crossing gates, the streaks of the lights, and the EOT.

One of my favorites this contest. Agreeing with Kenz, I too liked the colors (any idea where did the nice blues came from?) and the FRED effect across the image. Loved the lighting on the building, with just enough to show the textures and not enough to blow them out. Definitely one of those 'wish it were mine' shots.

Thanks Ken and Leia. I appreciate your feedback. The fact you found the balance good makes me feel good about my planning and PP.

The blue streaks I believe are reflections of some different colored lights (to the left in the 'big' city) off the rail cars.
