It's a chilly mid-winter's night in Launceston's East Tamar Junction, and a light fog is about to form, This is a scene of a pair of Tasmania's magnificent Za class diesels doing some shunting before heading south with their train. It might be a bit unorthodox, but I've always liked this one, although it did not work out as planned. I was hoping that the diesels would have remained stationary long enough to get a solid exposure of them, before they moved. So this is one of those shots I'll eventually go back and try to repeat - and get it just right!

Camera: Minolta X-GM
Lens: Minolta 75-150 zoom
Film: Ilford FP4
Aperture - probably 5.6
Exposure - not recorded
Date: 3 July 1985
