MRSL 5106

MRSL 5106, 5139 and 5108 switching cement cars at Vespasiano yard.
How come these locomotives unlike other locomotives down south have the normal Six Axle trucks instead of the B-B trucks that other north american locomotives usually get when the get sent south.

The reason is simple: MRSL is broad gauge (1,600mm), so it can use the original traction motors and C-C trucks. Only the narrow gauge ones have to use BB+BB trucks.
