The NP GP9s ran in Montana for 50 years before moving to Vancouver island to operate on a former CP branch. The ex-BN SD40 never did leave home rails!

Note the tarped RDC's behind SRY 119. Due to deteriorating track conditions VIA suspended all services on the island, hence the units remain stored awaiting money to repair the line.
