main one cut #1

The last train for the nite a hot Z went thru southbound and five minute later they cut the main and rubber grade crossing out at 11:30 P.M. Fri. nite at Main Street Edmonds Wa.they are working at nite on this prodject to digout about 3/4 feet of ballast and raise the track 6/8 inchs higher than it was and install new concrete crossing panels. The ferry traffic was rerouted to back down Sunset to Dayton and back up Railroad Ave. to the loading dock.This is all done with a sewer and water project that went under the single main track to the dive park on the other side.The next train ran thru at 6:oo A.M.the next date Sat.
