Magnolia Cut -Off View

From this vantage point we catch an Eastbound CSX U800 Series loaded coal train crossing the Potomac River at Magnolia with the abondened Western Maryland bridge looming in the background. This shot depicts the remote area that the B&O and Western Maryland built their lines through. I can only imagine a time when there might have been a slim chance to catch trains on both bridges in the same shot.
