Late on the A-Line

Northbound Amtrak PO52, the Auto Train, crosses the Roanoke River in Weldon, North Carolina well behind schedule. It's still 175 miles south of its destination at Lorton, Virginia and was supposed to have arrived there some 30 minutes ago. The former A-Line trackage (now CSX North End Sub) saw five trains in less than 45 minutes.
