Heading North

A northbound general freight with UP 3951 on the point rolls into LaSalle, CO.

Sorry about the dark noses, I know they don't make for great photos. But I wanted this mountain backdrop photo and it's kinda hard to get a sunlit nose on a northbound train...except maybe early in the morning on late in the afternoon around June 21st.

Gerald - I don't mind 'dark noses'. I think it makes for more dramatic lighting - we all know what the nose of an SD70M looks like. If it's not a roster shot - anything goes. Great photo!

Good photo. Dark noses? Who cares! This place isn't like some of those other snobby web sites that would reject your shot because conditions weren't perfect. Keep up the good work.
