Hand Hewn Ties along the Siuselaw

This Photo was taken along the Siuselaw River near a town called Mapleton,near the Oregon Coast. My mother lived in the houseboat and my grandfathers commercial fishing boat was tied to the dock. Photo was taken about 1932. Look at the random length on the ties.
Great shot! Thanks for bringing it out to show us. We need more historical photos to remind us where we came from.
