Former CSX Sd20 rebuild leads Ohio Central's Glouster Turn north of Zanesville Ohio on Thursday, June 29, 2006.
There is a backup move required when the train passes through Zanesville. The rear engine is a helper when required, and then shut down. The lead engines are shut down when heading south, and the rear engine pulls the empties. Thus an EOT is required, as the rear engine, apart from when it is a helper or leading the backup move, is unoccupied.

This unit is actually a Ex-CSX SD40 #4602, this unit was a part of a trade made by OHCR with CSX, CSX got 2 F40's & OHCR got 1 SD40(4602), 1 SD45-2(8976),2 CSX B23-7 (3186 & 3188), 1 C36-7 (7139). The SD20-2 is a SD35 rebuild not a SD40 rebuild.

Nice shot, nice to see the #4602 back in action now. Prior to being retired by CSX it was in MofW service and before that had long been assigned to Osborn Yard here in Louisville,KY and worked the bowl with 3 other straight SD40's. All 4 were replaced with R/C equiped SD40-2's. Glad to see one of the hometown alumni in service again!
