First Great Western at Dawlish

In ex-works condition Class 43 HST power car No. 43037 'Penydarren' passes Langstone Rock near Dawlish on 19 February with the 09.35 Plymouth to London Paddington service. This power car was named 'penydarren the previous day at Cardiff, to mark the 200th anniversary of the first steam locomotive. Although the sun was out is was almost sub zero when this was taken.
