Unit is a FP45, not a F45; the spotting feature is the space between the louvers and the end of the unit that held the steam generator.

Unit was built 12/1967 as ATSF 108

Repainted and renumbered as ATSF 5998

Repainted in the proposed SPSF Kodachrome paint scheme

Repainted & renumbered ATSF 5948

BNSF 98 Was originally only used for BNSF business trains,never put in service
