East Bound At The Brickyard
Here is the East bound NS 334 rolling past what NS calls "The Brickyard" on the East end of Sylacauga, AL. The term "Brickyard" refers to what once was the Sylacauga Brick Manufactuing Plant that was in the location that now is occupied by Bama Budweiser. This location is the start of the long, slow crawl up Trammells Hill that on occasion causes under-powered East bound trains to stall out half-way up the hill and the result is to "double-up" the train to get it on over the crest.
