Alabama Southern Railroad Southbound Freight Train Z776 running via trackage rights over CSXT'S Birmingham Mineral Sub at Bessemer, Al. This train used to be the KCS run from Artesia & Tuscaloosa to Birmingham, but now is operated by WATCO/ Alabama Southern Railroad & usually runs with these WAMX SD40R'S/SD40-2'S & sometimes runs with WAMX GP35'S in former Bangor & Aroostook paint & also they have a HLCX SD40 still in Detroit Edison paint & some NREX SD40-2'S still in UP paint & some HLCX SD40'S still in Conrail paint
These WAMX units haven't been running but maybe a year now on the former KCS run to Artesia & back to Birmingham. I miss the KCS power that used to run on this train daily, but these are a change at least. I have at least 1 other shot I uploaded with the WAMX power on this train. Thanks for the rating
