CP Tyvan Sub

CP 3094 sits at the end of the line in Stoughton on CP's Tyvan Subdivision. This line used to connect to the arcola subdivision when there used to be daily passenger train. Train K13 with 3094 and 3044 have dropped off grain cars at filmore and intermodal cars at stoughton.

This picture brings back the years that CP Rail used these GP38's on the branch lines through Manitoba.

Like many branchlines this line doesnt allow 6 Axle units. In a CP Saskatchewan District timetable it says only 6 axles units allowed were CN 1600 gmd-1's which are long gone but this is because CN uses a portion of this subdivision near regina.

That's the reddest grain elevator that I've ever seen. It must be quite a visible "landmark" for that part of the country.

Clayton, CP still runs GP38-2 trios south of Winnipeg onto the Rivers sub.

Thanks for the comments guys. Clayton if you want to see GP38-2s on CP i suggest any branchline run out of brandon because thats all they have at the rail yard in Brandon as far as i know.
