Conrail Quality

One the way back home from chasing the UP 844, this NS powered UP train headed west to Houston on the UP Lafayette Sub in the town of Ames comes roaring by.
Nice to see some Conrail blue. It's unfortunate though that NS chose to remove their marker lights. CSX has keep them intact on most of their former Conrail power.

Yeah Tommy, it's always nice to see some Conrail blue. I live far away from old Conrail territory but I've always liked the paint scheme.

It's always a treat to see the big blue. Thank goodness that they can lead as some subs have a no foreign unit leader policy. Good catch.
