CP SD90 East to Chicago

SD90 Cruising fast through sturtevant wisconsin
Lookin: looks like some ancient history was mixed in with that big bruiser.

mktmike: yes, that is two-track CTC territory; Sturtevant is where the Milwaukee road line from Rockford (I think) crossed on its way to the lakefront. The is no longer a diamond there, but there is a wye and a set of crossovers.

I remember this train lookn4trains. I was on a trip to Duplainville & Byron Hill & shot this train at the 1st road crossing east of the WC/CP Diamond. Glad to see you got a nice shot of it as well
