CP Rail crew-man peeks through the Canadian, American and German flags back at the Famous Schnabel Car(made in Germany)....Approximately the length of a football field..Coupler to coupler a shade under 91 meters long makeing it the World's Largest Capacity Rail Car( in 1978.) The 36- Axle Giant which at 335 tonnes, weighs nearly as much as two mainline locomotives, is the only one of it's kind in North America. This Famous Schnabel Train made five trips between Duluth, Minnesota and Regina, Saskatchewan..Hauling Huge Pressure Vessels for the Co-op Upgrader Project in Regina... They were also Restricted to Daylight Movement and a Speed Limit of 24-km/h...
