Arizona-California and The Old Woman Mtns.

The Old Woman Mountains provide the backdrop to the ARZC Cadiz turn returning to Parker, AZ from Cadiz, CA. The typical long consists of GP30s, GP35s and GP38s of a few years back have since been replaced by three SD40-2s. This is near Milligan, California and the Danby Dry Lake where salt evaporators harvest salt. Milligan proper has a car loading facility for the salt mining yeilds.

Beautiful shot, I still need to film this railroad, which is on my hit list. I should've already filmed the Arizona & California as many times as I've been in this area & wish I had now that the older GP35'S, GP30'S, & GP38-2'S are gone, but at least they still have EMD'S
