Contest SAMPLE

Sample for a contest I threw together in a hurry tonight. A merger from three photos that I shot.
Threw together in a hurry... Yeah, I could "throw together" something like that in a hurry too. It wouldn't take me more than 4 or 5 hours!

Thanks guys, and Bob....really. Opening all three photos, selecting the objects from the two and then just dragging the selections over onto the photo isn't that hard once you learn how to select them. Then it was just color adjusting two of the layers to match the sky....it goes fast. Trust me. I'm a doctor. ;)

It helped that the sky in the train photo was solid and bright enough to just magic wand select then delete it.

If I had taken my time, I would have used the Filter: Extract mode in Photoshop to save the eagles edges more naturally. It is a tool that can actually include fine edge details like those found in grasses or trees from a background in the selection process. Great for a horses mane (or eagles feathers!). But that takes time and I was tired. I might try it this week and show you the difference.
