Colorful consist north at Sherar's Falls on the BNSF Oregon Trunk.

A northbound BNSF with four locomotives with four different paint schemes head north towards a crew change at Wishram, Washington about 40 miles away... This bridge is about 1-2 miles north of Sherar's Falls where Hwy. 216 crosses the Deschutes River..

The river looks fast and clean, the
valley ideal for hiking.

I can not give this shot a big enought 10! I am sure that I caught that KCS ACE in Kalama Wa a week later. It was the first KCS loco I saw in person. Very well done...

Thanks Todd, Joe and Bruce..

The opposite side of the valley looks idea for a hike. I wouldn't mind making it to the far end of the river before it bends in a 180 degree curve.. That would make shooting trains easier in the evening light that you get here in the peak summer days.
