Coast Starlight

Amtrack 184 south, leaving Seattle, with train 11. "13 and 2" is what they told the dispatcher.
A better shot than the Cascades version, http://www.railroadforums.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=19344&sort=1&cat=500&page=3
You suffered with some heat distortion/haze for that shot, a much better result with cold clear air. I think the Amtrak paint is more punchy than the Cascade paint as well which helps. Any chance of letting the loco cover that orange and white post! Oh yeah and shoot the seagulls:teeth::up: Good Cityscape shot.

Nice shot Tracy. I think that distortion is engine exhaust not haze. Is that the lead to the Rabanco facility?

Steve- Thanks for the feedback. I agree, this one did trun out better than the previous shot. The last one suffered from the fact that I made it hand held, this one was on a tripod.

John- Yes, that is the Rabanco lead, hence all the seaguls (Gulls and Garbage). Thanks
