After 19 years of service, in 2008 CN retired their 60 strong SD50F fleet, with all units scrapped except for the nine purchased by Dakota, Missouri Valley & Western. CN has since purged much of the SD40-2 fleet, with DMVW picking up WC SD40-3s (DMVW 6941 trailing 5439 in photo), WC SD45s & CN GP40-2Ws, a nice addition to their SP/CNW GP35s & ATSF GP20s.

Former SP & CN units roaming the Dakota Prairie, all a short 5 hour drive from Saskatoon.
