CN 250-ton crane

  • Romet
1956 Industrial Brownhoist, retired by CN in 2000 - he can lift the equivalent of two SW1200s at the same time! Two such monsters still on CN's roster, a 1957 brother assigned to Kamloops and a 1946 Bucyrus-Erie spare in Winnipeg. Another Bucyrus of 1947 vintage is assigned on the IC (nee Alton RR). These are the biggest rail cranes in Canada.
C
I did't know they still have these cranes on the roster.

R
CN needs to clean up those derailments somehow...

R
Identical looking unit sitting in The Pas with a small HBRY patch naturally.
