The Penn Central heritage is evident in the 3/4 shot of the lead locomotive. I love the track alignment on that switch! The CMNW was formed by the breakup of the IC in March 1987. The line soon went bankrupt and was sold to Southern Pacific and Gateway Western (KCS).
Nice shot! I think I shot that 3015 painted like that in E. St.Louis around that time frame!
