Busy Trenton Line

CSX Q-300 passes the Septa wire train on the Trenton Line near Yardley, PA. The Q-300 is powered by leased power.
Paint those units black, and the scene could be from "good" old times 30 years ago...

Misko your right. I grew up a few blocks from the PRR main line. I was a PRR fan but one day I discovered the Reading RR. What a contrast between the mighty PRR and the smaller Reading. The Reading quickly became my favorite and I spent many hours on this line a few miles west of here at a place called Neshaminy Falls. Two lines met there and headed for North Jersey and New York.

The Neshaminy Falls complex was complete with a station, freight house and tower. There was never a dull moment. You would see Reading, Jersey Central and B&O freight and passenger pulled by Alcos, GMs, FMs, Baldwins, you name it.

Now it is not as interesting with just Septa and CSX.
