Brand New B40-8W's

Class, Class, Class. If this train coming at you can't get your blood flowing, nothing can! B40-8W, 507, 508, 509 and 510 on their first trip west from Chicago. The units have just past the old Santa Fe Speedway ("The Action Clay Track!") back on the left in the trees and racing down into the valley towards Lemont and Joliet beyond. It's October 1990 and thoughts of a merger haven't begun to enter our heads. This was the highlight of Santa Fe railfanning for me.
