Branchline maintenance

New rails along with ballast are added to the La Riviere subdivision. The branchline is served by a tr-weekly wayfreight, typically with two GP38-2's for power.

Right behind me is Winnipeg's newest and biggest suburb, Whyte Ridge, although you likely can't tell that from the photo. To the right (also out of the picture) is the city dump - good thing pictures don't capture smell!
