Now that's what I don't like about people. Some people are just plan idiots when it comes to something like this. Great catch BTW....

Geez, it would be a shame if one of those people spilled their medium coffees on the track.
They likely live a block or two up the hill and the trains along Alaskan Way are just a big noisy nuisance to them. They know the the routine real well and have become complacent....until one of them trips or spills their coffee.

I've seen drunken Homeless folks near the rails in the past and they have demonstarted far more respect for moving trains and equipment than these urban clowns.

Maybe print the picture and post it on the gates. (he-he...)
