Bound for Saltillo

  • Media owner
  • Date added
A TFM freight leaves a siding northwest of Monterrey, Mexico, behind a SD70MAC/Super7 consist in February, 2003. This train is on the North Belt line around the northern edge of the city of over 2 million people, and is bound for Villa de Garcia, where the line rejoins the original line west from Monterrey. The belt line allows trains from Nuevo Laredo bound for beyond Monterrey to avoid congestion in that terminal.
