Sure, everyone hated the LMX's when they were around--but there's a certain nostalgic value in this view of train 195 clawing its way up the 2% Evaro Hill line at Lagos, Montana, on the Montana Rail link in 1992. A derailment near Trout Creek forced traffic onto the steeply graded line. A cut-in helper is out of sight near the rear of the train.
