My first saw a SP&S engine: BN 4368 C636. It seemed to be dead. I was only 16 so surprised. By the way, I missed getting in the railroad in 1974 even though I was a BN Explorer Scout for two years. I went into the US Navy for 20 years then finally hired on the BN/BNSF railway for 25 years and worked 22 1/2 years as a locomotive engineer!
