While E9 10C sits on the locomotive ready track, GP38-2 3807 drills cars in the nearby yard.
Great shot. Excellent DOF considering where your standing (5 points) and where 3807 is (over a block away).
 
Are there any other class 1 (or whatever the correct terminology is) rr's in the US using loco's of the same vintage (1950's, I assume) as this E9's? Just curious. Btw, that E9 looks like it's in very good condition (at least on the outside). Great shot!
 
i believe WSOR is the only one to use for freight work but there r quite a few that use F7's for excursions for PR
