6060 at Stettler

A relief after the huge hailstorm that preceeded it, 6060 detrains passenger in Big Valley
That was taken in July of 2006. She's owned by the Rocky Mountain Historical Society, and runs between Stettler and Big Valley a few times a year.

Had the chance to ride behind her at "track speed--70 mph" between Toronto and Niagra Falls back in 1977 when she was in "regular service" during the summer. At that speed, exhaust beats disappear, and it sounds like you're riding behind a "Turbo"! Will never forget it. Glad to see she's "still breathing".
