On display awaiting restoration in Kent, CT. It was originally used by the Argent Lumber Company in GA and SC (thanks to John Bentz for the info)
This is a 3' gauge locomotive used by the Argent Lumber Co. In South Carolina and Georgia. It is a wood burning locomotive, hence the large 'cabbage' stack to keep sparks from escaping and setting the woods on fire. The Argent Lumber Company ceased rail operations in 1956.
