MRL #404 is the 3rd of the 3 GP35's on the M-PASTAC-1-11A. The PASTAC had an EMD SD60 #9029 along with FURX #7249 as the second unit. The MRL GP35's were dead in tow.
MRL #405 is the 2nd of the 3 GP35's on the M-PASTAC-1-11A. The PASTAC had an EMD SD60 #9029 along with FURX #7249 as the second unit. The MRL GP35's were dead in tow.

MRL SD19-1 #652, 1 of 2 SD19-1's that MRL has, sits at Livingston along with some MRL GP9's & an SD45. Although #651 & #652 are classified as SD19-1's by MRL, the two look totaly different, while #652 (shown here) may look more like an SD38, #651 looks alot more like an SD7/SD9.
2 locos w/ flared radiators, an MRL SD70ACe & an MRL SD45 sit at Laurel yard. The SD45 apears kinda shiney, making it look like it might have gotten washed recently. Most of MRL's SD45's that I see are usualy covered with a nice layer of dirt, soot, ect...
MRL SD35 #702 at Laurel Yard. MRL uses its SD35's in Laurel for yard switching, usualy w/ an RC caboose coupled to them so they can be operated by RC controlers (i'm not quite sure what the advantage of RC switching is over switching w/ someone in the cab; safty, maybe?)
A mixed freight passes through Billings past the Quality Inn on its way to MRL's Laurel yard. I happened to get a pic. of this HERZOG high-sided gondola.
