Howdy ho all! This is my first post here; and I ended up here after I applied to my local CSX subdivision for a conductor's slot. I know a lot of the usual stuff (6 weeks training in hotlanta, on call mostly nights/weekends stuff) and am looking for info on the realities of the job and the fine details. My Uncle retired from CSX in VA (I'm in PA) and seems to think with my resume I'm a shoe-in. Also they extended the job posting another week so I'm guessing they haven't received as large an applicant pool as they would like. Good news for me I hope! Any advice at all for interview (assuming I get that far) or wisdom about the gig would be greatly appreciated.
